It's no secret that the New Year holidays are associated with pleasant troubles for everyone, including decorating a house, preparing a festive menu, choosing a dress and much more. But the most important thing before the new year is to prepare congratulations and choose gifts. A New Year's gift is a piece of childhood, and not only children, but adults, believe in miracles. Each of us, finding a surprise under the Christmas tree and expanding the packaging, remains a little child and believes that a new happy and successful year is on the verge.
What to give a loved one for the New Year? At the end of December, every person is tormented with this issue. In this regard, the portal “Women's Opinion” conducted a sociological survey and found out that Russian women want to receive a New Year as a gift.
As a result, it turned out that 39.4% of the women surveyed would prefer ... any envelope with money to any other gifts. They explain this unromantic choice by the fact that only they and no one else know what gift to buy for themselves for the new year. And they do not want to receive something unnecessary, in their opinion: "nonsense in a festive package".
22.8% of women want to accept jewelry from a loved one, whether it be a small accessory or a large expensive jewelry. They say that they want to celebrate the New Year without fail in a new decoration that will emphasize all the advantages of its owner.
Also practical were 19.7% of respondents - as a New Year's gift they want to see something from the technique, for example, a phone or tablet. Usefulness, convenience and practicality, these are the qualities that they value in gifts.
9.3% of respondents want to get a subscription to a fitness club for the New Year. “My husband and I will exchange season tickets and we will go to the gym together in the new year,” they say and say that this is the best gift for a couple who will strengthen their relationship.
“I love gifts. And what it will be: perfumes, toys or souvenirs, it does not matter to me, I will be glad to everyone, the main thing is that the gift was given from the bottom of my heart,” writes one of the respondents. In this category, 8.8% of dreamy-minded women supported her.
As you can see from the results of the study, modern women have become more practical and less romantic. It is hoped that the New Year’s tradition to delight loved ones with interesting outstanding gifts will still remain with us. In any case, give gifts and make surprises with the soul and love for your loved ones and they will definitely appreciate it.
