Oddly enough, to make perfume at home is a snap. You need to show a little creative ability, connect the imagination and "voila" - natural perfumes are ready without any synthetic impurities. The process of making perfumes from essential oils resembles a kind of magical effect, because a set of aromas can have both a healing effect and vice versa, harm health; can cheer and cheer up, and maybe inspire melancholy. Therefore, before starting work, you need to replenish stocks of theoretical knowledge about the properties of essential oils and their combinations.

Homemade perfumes have top, medium and base notes. The first light fragrance, the first impression is the top notes. They are weightless, dissolve quickly, leaving a feeling of freshness. In their quality it is better to use eucalyptus, basil, bergamot or citrus. Next comes the "heart" of the fragrance - its middle note, which is often called the heart note. Essential oils of geranium, lavender, rosewood and rosemary are best for heart notes. To fix the aroma, use the most severe and intense odors - this is the main note - cypress, patchouli, frankincense, sandalwood. The main thing you need to know when choosing essential oils for the upper, middle and basic notes is to use only those smells that you like and bring pleasure. Otherwise, pleasure and joy will not bring you neither the manufacturing process nor the perfumes themselves. But, in addition to taste preferences, consider also therapeutic properties, they occupy not the last place.

If you decide to make perfumes for the first time, then limit yourself to three or four fragrances: top, middle and main notes. At the very beginning of the creative path of such a quantity of oils will be quite enough, do not rush to mix too much.

Well, actually, the process itself. Take a few cotton buds, put on each literally a drop of essential oil from those that you have selected. And then just put three sticks together and study the combination. Drive them a little distance from the nose, try to evaluate the resulting fragrance as a whole. Add, remove the chopsticks until you inhale the smell, which will make your heart beat more often and involuntarily cry out: "That's it! Eureka!" It is at this moment that your masterpiece will be ready.

Now you can move from magical actions to directly earthly - the creation of spirits. In a jar of dark glass, with a volume of about 10 ml, pour the oil-base. The best option for the base oil is jojoba oil, but you can use both. He will need about two teaspoons. Fill half of the bottle with base oil, add a few drops of selected perfume oils, shake well and add oil base. Now, for several days, spirits need to stand alone in a dark place, so that the molecules of essential oils "get to know each other" and begin to interact. This period is called "ripening". That's all the tricks. Although no, the most important thing - create in a good mood, then the result of your work will please you.
