25 minutes of daily meditation relieve stress

American scientists are convinced: meditation has an extremely beneficial effect on the human body. It was found that only 25 minutes of daily exercise can overcome external manifestations of stress.

The experiment involved 66 people aged 18 to 35 years. In the first group, volunteers meditated for three days using various breathing techniques, and on the second group as many days studied poetry.

Then volunteers were examined to determine the level of stress. As a test session, it was proposed to make a report or, in the presence of a scientific commission, solve a complex equation. During the experiment, participants measured the level of cortisol, a stress hormone. Despite the fact that the participants of the first group, according to them, felt very calm, their level of cortisol was still quite high. Perhaps the reason is that scientists have scored too small groups. Be that as it may, yoga exercises have a positive effect on the work of the organism as a whole.
