Anastasia Volochkova admitted that she very much regrets that she got involved in a political conflict with Ukrainian journalists. According to the ballerina, her words were distorted and aimed at sowing enmity between Russian artists.
Anastasia said that the concerts planned in Crimea were canceled due to her opinion about the situation in Ukraine. Recall that Volochkova recently admitted that she considers Crimea to be part of Ukraine and she is embarrassed for Russia. This phrase, as expected, did not go unnoticed. Crimean performances scheduled for November 21 and 22 were canceled. The organizers claim that the spectators themselves did not want to see a ballerina in their city.
According to insiders, despite Volochkova’s allegations that all her concerts are charitable, she voiced a high enough fee for her show. In addition, the organizers claim that even if the concerts were free, after such words the ballerina would not go to her performances on principle.
For his part, Volochkova believes that she was the victim of a political scandal. Trying to reverse her words, Anastasia said that she was embarrassed not because of Russia's position in the Crimea, but because of the situation with domestic artists.
