In the 17th century, in a European part of Russia, in a pious noble family, a boy was born who was brought up in modesty and piety. Getting older, he even hid his origin and led the life of a poor man. Simeon learned to sew fur coats, but did not accept remuneration for his work, and so that the owner did not insist on payment, he left the work a little unfinished and left. Sometimes he was even beaten for this and insulted, but he accepted everything with humility. People loved and honored the conversations of the ascetic, who established a special spirit in the Urals that strengthened faith.
He spent a lot of time on his knees on a stone in the taiga, where he prayed for the well-being of people. By catching fish, Simeon limited himself only to what was necessary for food. The saint lived only 35 years, but after his death the inhabitants of Merkushinsky began to observe real miracles. Firstly, the body of the righteous remained imperishable, and secondly, healings of people began, for example, a man who was paralyzed was cured. On September 25, the relics of St. Simeon of Verkhotursky were transferred to the Verkhotursky monastery, where miraculous cures of various patients and alcoholics continued.

September 25, 1763 - Patients began to be admitted to the Pavlovsk hospital in Moscow, established by order of the Russian Empress Catherine II (the first public hospital in Russia). In 1762, Catherine II and Pavel visited Moscow, the heir became seriously ill, and doctors saved the life of the crowned lady. In memory of a happy recovery, the empress ordered the founding of a hospital for the poor; the estate of General Glebov was used as a building. The public hospital of Russia exists today, its territory covers 13 hectares, on which there are three dozen buildings. Pavlovsk Hospital has always been and remains the largest medical and scientific center; heart failure problems are studied here.

The actor is married for the second time to actress Katherine Zeta Jones.
Sergey Bondarchuk (1920 - 1994) - Soviet director, actor.
Sergey Fedorovich began his career in Taganrog, and received his acting education in Rostov. During the war, he served in the theater of the Red Army as an actor, and after demobilization he entered the third year of VGIKA immediately. The type of actor contributed to the fact that he was always given the role of strong and courageous people. The first roles - in the films "Young Guard", then "Cavalier of the Golden Star" and "Taras Shevchenko", many more roles. In 1969, Bondarchuk's directorial debut took place - the painting "The Fate of Man", in which he also played the main role of Alexei Sokolov.
Anatoly Solovyanenko (1932 - 1999) - great opera singer (tenor)
Initially, the profession of Anatoly Borisovich was completely unrelated to music - he worked as a teacher of mathematical discipline, and musically proved himself at the Kiev show of amateur talents. The professional performance of opera arias without an academic background impressed the jury and the public. The artist was invited to work at the State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, first as an intern, and then as a soloist.
A little later, he won the vocal competition for the right to undergo an internship at the La Scala Theater. The singer studied for three years, honing his skills to the smallest nuances. After that, he sang at the Metropolitan Opera - the first of the performers from the USSR. Anatoly Solovyanenko sang 18 parts at the Kiev Opera and Ballet Theater. After the artist’s death in Donetsk, a new theater was named after him, and a monument was erected to the famous tenor there.
