Everyone knows that it’s dangerous to be under the scorching sun for a long time. However, the scientists themselves have only recently found out why a tan can actually lead to skin cancer. It turns out that sunlight has the ability to "accumulate" and exert its harmful effect even several hours after a person leaves the beach.

It is known that ultraviolet causes mutations of DNA. The skin pigment melanin is able to absorb solar radiation. And the melanin charged by him triggers a dangerous chain reaction. Laboratory studies have shown: this reaction continues its harmful effect for DNA, even on the way of the “beach worker” home. Now the doctors on the agenda create a special sunscreen that can absorb the "dangerous" energy of melanin.
