The situation around the country's chief machinist, Andrei Makarevich, continues to escalate. Recently, the singer expressed his political attitude towards the Ukrainian-Russian conflict in a new track, "My country went crazy." It is curious that never before has the work of Time Machine been so politicized as it is now. In fact, Makarevich puts the listeners in front of the need to choose: either to agree that you are * or to admit that "the country has gone mad."
Many have criticized the song. In particular, Makarevich’s long-time friend, singer Yuri Loza, announced his diametrically opposite vision of the situation. Yuri blames the Ukrainians, who, in his opinion, destroyed their own country for trying to blame all their problems on Russia, which responded accordingly.
Loza believes that, in the natural attitude of Russia towards the current situation, Makarevich sees insanity, which means that he lives "in some country of his own."
